1. Advanced PODD course – April & Movements for Communication course – July

We still have a few spaces left on the 5 day advanced PODD course with Gayle Porter, being held in Surrey from the 3rd-7th April. This course is for anyone who has completed the 2 day course and gives detailed information about all aspects of PODD implementation and is a pre-requisite to becoming a PODD trainer.
We are also hosting a 2/3 day ‘Movements for Communication’ course in Surrey from the 24th – 25th/26th July. This course is being run by Fiona Beauchamp, an Occupational Therapist from the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre (CPEC) in Australia and will talk about teaching the movements needed to develop communication skills for people with neurological motor disorders (day 1 and 2) and sensory processing challenges (day 3). Participants can attend 1, 2 or 3 days.

2. Upcoming literacy course – Jane Farrall

3. Specialist training for practitioners working with MSI children and young people in mainstream settings

We are pleased to announce, that in partnership with NatSIP, Sense and Surrey Physical Sensory Support Service we will be piloting a new course: Specialist training for practitioners working with MSI children and young people in mainstream settings. This 2 day course will run between Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 March 2017, 09:30-15:30 at Quadrant Court, Guildford Road, Woking GU22 7QQ.
