CENMAC is a team of professionals supporting children and young people experiencing barriers to learning and/or communication to access the curriculum and/or to communicate using assistive technology.

Our unique service offers assessments, reviews and the loan of assistive technology (AT) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

We work across the Greater London area, with children and young people aged 2 to 25 with Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) in mainstream education, special schools, and those who are home educated.

Support is ongoing and can be maintained for as long as required. Reviews of both support and equipment are held a minimum of once a year.

CENMAC is based at Charlton Park Academy in South-East London.

We support children and young people in the following Local Authorities:

Bexley, Brent, Bromley, Croydon, Ealing, Greenwich, Havering, Kingston upon Thames, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Richmond, Southwark and Wandsworth.

If you live in Greater London but not in one of these boroughs, we might still be able to help you. Sometimes boroughs or schools will pay for a private assessment or individual packages through a service level agreement.
